This cuckoo clock has a 1-day mechanical movement by the trademark of REGULA which is made in Germany. It “cuckoos” once on the half hour and on the hour according to the time. Exp. 3 times at 3 o’clock, 4 times at 4 o’clock and so on. There is a switch to mute the sound, so the clock keeps telling the time but without the sound.
The movement is weight driven and needs winding up once every 24 to 30 hours.
